Inn Town Christmas

By Beverly Hernandez, About.com

by Constanze:

The family was sitting in the hotel room.
Sleeping, eating, and waiting for Santa to come soon.
Hoping that Santa remembered we had moved.
We have our paper Christmas tree hung up so nicely.
Our Christmas presents sat on the air conditioner next to the wall.
We sat around silently, were too excited to sleep.
We heard a great crash on our front door.
Becky screamed, "It's Santa."
Mom says, "It's the cleaning lady who has come to vacuum the floor.
I ran and opened our padded locked door and to our surprise Santa waddled through.
Santa asked Becky and me if we wanted to take a ride.
We darted for the door knocking over a broom.
I yelled, "I'll do anything to get out of this hotel room."
