Deadline:
Entries may be submitted on or after February 15, 2005 12:01 AM ET and must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2005, or received no later than April 30, 2005, 11:59 PM ET (if entered online).
Who Can Participate:
This contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington D.C., five (5) to sixteen (16) years of age at time of entry.
How to Enter:
Come up with an invention that can make life easier for Mom and Dad. Describe your great invention in 100 words or less and submit online or in the mail.
Prizes:
Grand Prize: Trip to New York City to meet the Director of Robots and get a VIP tour of the animation studio.
Two (2) Grand Prize winning "Everyday Solutions" essays will be selected on or about May 15, 2005. In order to award the two (2) Grand Prizes, entrants will be divided into two (2) age categories for judging, with one (1) Grand Prize winner chosen from each age category. One (1) category will include all entries received from children ages 5-10 and one (1) category will include all entries received from children ages 11-16 at time of entry submission.
