Free Educational Games for Homeschoolers

Sheppard Software makes educational computer games. They are gracious enough to make the registered versions of the games available free to homeschoolers, teachers and tutors! My son and I played all eight games and really enjoyed them. Below are descriptions of each game. To receive the registered versions, simply email educators@sheppardsoftware.com.

States Mania
States Mania is an educational game covering all fifty states. It has eight levels and lets you choose what area of the United State you want to cover. Great for any age.

Presidents Mania
Presidents-Mania is an educational game covering all 41 Presidents. It has eight levels and lets you choose what time period you wish to cover. Its great pictures and ease of use make it not only educational, but also fun.

Astro-Mania
Astro-Mania covers the Universe. It has eight levels and let's you choose what subject area you want to cover. Great for any age.

Algebra - One on One
An educational game for those wanting a fun way to learn and practice Algebra. This program covers 21 functions. It has a practice area and a game area.

License Plate Math
License Plate Math is a fun game you can play on the road as well as on the computer. There is virtually an unlimited number of math puzzles, with 3 ways to play and 11 levels of difficulty. For ages 9 and up.

Brain Builder - Math
Math puzzles presented in a fun, multimedial format to ensure unlimited hours of math enjoyment. Sharpen your problem solving and critical thinking skills by tacklng these entertaining math puzzles.

Math Function Mania
Math Function Mania is a fun, multimedia game for grades 7-12 that teaches functions, algebra and problems solving skills.

Prime Time Math
Prime Time Math helps you improve your word problem solving skills and boost your SAT scores. Skills covered include prime numbers, factoring, squares, cubes, remainders, fractions, percentages, algebra, and logic.
