"...you have more bookcases than children and your formal dining room has been renamed The Classroom." ~MomofSix2229
We've had a lot of fun with this over the past 6-1/2 years. The original forum thread began in March of 2002 and is up to 200 posts. After reading the latest additions, you can add your own. Have fun!

hahahaha!!! This is only my 3rd year of homeschooling… I have 4 children and SIX bookcases! So true! Can’t wait to read them all!
Homeschooling can be difficult…I applaud your patience. I work in education and feel the curriculum should be free. Please feel free to use anything on what started as my dissertation and expanded to a warehouse of lessons, reproducibles and tons more. I would love to know what you think.

I hate to think about what that means for me! I homeschooled my two daughters and am now starting on the grandkids (7 and 3). My granddaughter goes to public school during the day, but asks to work in her work books when she gets home. She loves playing with my “words” (magnetic poetry) on the magnetic board we have up. My grandson is starting to read on his own. He reads about 2 to 3 words in every sentence. When we start a new sentence, he tells me the words he knows and sounds out a few early in the story. After the first few pages, he just wants his story.
Hmm, can you tell I love working with the little monsters?
