We are a community of families passionate about teaching our children. We gather to increase our knowledge and skills, to build friendships and socialization opportunities, and to offer support, advice, and encouragement. We aspire to bring excellence and creativity to all we do.

Raymore Home Educators serves families in the South Kansas City, Missouri area, focusing on families in or near Raymore and Belton.
Support Group Vision / Mission Statement
RHE Mission Statement:
Raymore Home Educators is a support group for home schooling families. RHE provides opportunities for parents and their children to form relationships within the home school community by way of field trips, social events, and group activities. In addition, RHE provides an atmosphere for the exchange of teaching techniques and curriculum information, pertinent home school current events, and information regarding seminars and conferences. In all of these activities, Raymore Home Educators represents the home school community in a manner that honors Jesus Christ.
RHE Statement of Faith:
We welcome all families with similar goals and requirements to join us in our journey to give our children the best education possible. Many members have found a common focus of Christian faith. Expressions of faith, including, but not limited to prayer, are freely shared at many meetings and activities, and are protected within the bounds of RHE membership. This common bond is encouraged but is not a prerequisite for membership.
Advice
- RHE meets monthly, September through May. Our meetings provide interesting speakers and activities for the children while the parents discuss upcoming opportunities, and learn from speakers especially helpful in equipping the parent/teacher.
