Jumpers! There were at least 4 or 5 set up, so none were too crowded.

County Fair Field Trip by Sun-Kissed Scholars

Approximate Cost / Hours:

Held in September of every year. School groups get in with only a parking fee, on the first Friday. After inside, groups have access to all rides and (most) activities at no additional cost.

Field Trip Description:

This is a field trip for all ages. There are butterfly exhibits, livestock judging, a petting zoo, carnival games and rides, inflatable jumpables.

Highlights:

My favorite exhibit was the butterfly tent. They passed out information and brochures, and showed butterfly houses with different stages of development.

My kids (ages 2-10) enjoyed the petting zoo and the jumpables the most!

Tips & tricks:

  • Caravan to reduce parking costs. Follow the cemetery road, as it will lead you to the entrance.
  • Avoid the camels. It's the only thing that costs money for a school trip, once inside... and each ride is $5. We talked to the owner about letting us just pet the camels.
  • Also, be aware, that most of the inflatables are for all kids, but they always reserve one for toddlers alone, which is wise.
