Materials:
- Paper plates- large and small
- Brown, black, tan and red paint/marker/crayon
- White cardstock
- Brown construction paper
- Glue
- Stapler
- Color/paint 2 large plates brown and 1 small plate tan.
- After they are dry, put glue around the edge of the large plate and place the other on top of it and let dry.
- Take the small plate and glue it in the middle of the large plate and let dry.
- Now cut two eyes from the cardstock and glue onto the plates right above the small plate.
- Take the black and make circles on the eyes.
- Take the red and make a tongue coming out under the small plate.
- Cut 2 ear shapes from the cardstock and paint/color them tan, let dry, then glue them to the plates.
- Color 2 large plates brown.
- Color a small plate tan.
- Staple the bottom of the small plate to one of the large ones, leaving the top open to place things in.
- Glue the 2 large plates together.
- Staple the head to the body.
- Take brown construction paper and cut 2 arms, 2 legs and 1 tail.
- Glue or staple to the body.
- Paper plate monkeys
- Bananas made from construction paper or cardstock
- Cardstock strips
- Matching lowercase to capital letters
- Matching colors
- Matching numbers
- Math problems and answers
The bananas are placed into the monkeys.
