Vision/Purpose:

LAF is a member-led support system of homeschool parents in Fort Bend County (TX) and surrounding Houston areas sharing their talents and energies in a co-operative environment. LAF meets regularly for the purpose of providing fun and creative activities so our children can celebrate the adventures of learning and exploring their world together.

Composition:

LAF welcomes members from all faiths, races and educational styles. We serve homeschoolers in Ft. Bend County (TX) including Sugar Land, Missouri City, Stafford, Richmond, Rosenberg, SW Houston and surrounding areas.

Fees:

$12 per family per year to cover activity supply fees, location fees, and Educator ID cards.

Application Procedure and Requirements:

If you would like to meet the members of LAF and determine whether you are interested in becoming a member, please attend one of our park days where you can see if LAF is what you've been looking for and to obtain a membership form. Please contact us to arrange to attend a park day and to get directions to the park.

Membership Benefits:

A long and growing list of clubs, activities, and field trips, on-line support, Educator ID Card, and a terrific circle of homeschool friends!

Meetings:

Park Days meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday. Other clubs meet most days of the week throughout the month.

We believe that the most wonderful part of home-schooling is the opportunity to learn about others and ourselves in real-world situations.
