Our Homeschool Schedule

Schedule for 10 year old (from Chloe)

We are in our third year homeschooling. This is MY current daily schedule. All three kids usually wake up around 8:30-9:00.
  • 6:30-7:30 Get up, shower, hair, make-up, make bed, start load of laundry, feed and water pets, cook breakfast, eat

  • 7:30-10:00 My cleaning time (clean up breakfast mess, daily chores--I keep a daily list of what to do)

  • 10:00-11:00 Cook lunch, relax a little (check emails, read, watch tv)

  • 11:00-11:30 Feed kids lunch, clean up mess, put baby down for a nap, put movie in for toddler, start school with 10 year old son.

  • 11:30-12:00 Bible, Vocabulary

  • 12:00-12:30 Reading

  • 12:30-1:30 Math

  • 1:30-2:00 Language

  • 2:00-2:30 History

  • 2:30-3:00 Spelling

  • 3:00-3:30 Science or Health

  • 3:30-4:00 Social Studies/Civics

  • 4:00-4:30 Writing

  • 4:30-5:30 Homework time/Quiet reading time for 10 year old

  • 5:30-6:00 Prepare dinner

  • 6:00-6:30 Dinner Time/Dad's home
The rest of the night includes me cleaning, playing with the kids, and so forth. Bedtime for little ones at 8:00. 10 year old goes to bed at 9:00 with a book. I'm usually in bed by 11:00 or so.

Mom to 10 year old son, 2 year old daughter, and 1 year old son.
