Beverly Hernandez
A good way to encourage kids to write is to begin a family newsletter. It doesn't have to be very elaborate and kids of all ages can contribute. Younger kids can dictate their stories or words of wisdom to you or to an older child. Students will learn the basics of the newspaper and learn how to create their own.
