Phonics Museum is centered around a young boy and his family on a scavenger hunt through a museum. The students set out on an adventure using real books with historic and biblical content. Using a model of a museum with paper dolls, fine art flashcards, puzzles, games, songs and daily worksheets, students will not only learn to read, they will learn to love reading.

Phonics Museum Readers

Most primer readers don't have much "meat" to them, but Veritas Press has changed that with their Phonics Museum program. Phonics Museum readers provide historical and biblical knowledge at the same time. The readers will leave a lasting impression on young readers.

The first 10 readers are used in the Kindergarten program and cover topics such as Daniel and the Lion's Den, Greek mosiacs, Benjamin Franklin and the Civil War.

The first grade readers, books 11 through 31, feature Cyrus the Archer, Ella Fitzgerald, moon missions, the bubonic plague, Sir Galahad (the son of Sir Lancelot), and more.

Phonics Museum - Kindergarten Program

The Kindergarten Program consists of 155 daily lessons. The lessons are laid out clearly and are coded with icons to make the different components of the program easy to use. The student workbook has 522 pages of activities to be used in the daily lessons. The Kindergarten program uses songs, games, crafts, coloring, puzzles and many other activities to bring the program to life and make learning fun.

Phonics Museum - First Grade Program

The First Grade Program consists of 164 daily lessons. The student workbook has 502 pages of activities to be used in the daily lessons. The first grade program continues the phonetic training, reading comprehension and broadening the classical education.
