Mississippi Mud Cake is a great choice if you want something sweet and scrumptious!
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 c. butter
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1-1/2 c. flour
- 1-1/2 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 (9 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
- Icing:
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation:
- Prepare 15" x 10" pan with butter and flour.
- Melt butter and cocoa in large saucepan.
- Add sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, and pecans. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Remove cake from oven. Spread marshmallow creme while cake is still warm.
- When cake is cooled, spread icing on cake.
To prepare icing:
Heat milk, margarine, and cocoa together. Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
