Mississippi Mud Cake

Mississippi Mud Cake is a great choice if you want something sweet and scrumptious!

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1-1/2 c. flour
  • 1-1/2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 (9 oz.) jar marshmallow creme
  • Icing:
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation:

  1. Prepare 15" x 10" pan with butter and flour.
  2. Melt butter and cocoa in large saucepan.
  3. Add sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, and pecans. Mix well. Pour into prepared pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove cake from oven. Spread marshmallow creme while cake is still warm.
  6. When cake is cooled, spread icing on cake.

To prepare icing:
Heat milk, margarine, and cocoa together. Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
