The Ford Mustang was introduced on April 17, 1964. It was the first “pony car” sold, followed by other car manufacturers releasing cars to compete with the Mustang. The Mustang gave consumers options for upgrades for different features, both interior and exterior, as well as the option of a bigger engine.
