by Indiana (age 7):
My Dad is in the Navy. He is a sailor. He works as a hospital man. He went to Iraq because there is a war between the US and Iraq. My Dad did not have to fight. He helped both the Iraqis and the US soldiers who had been hurt. Some people died. Most survived. Some people went to bigger bases to get more help. My Dad survived the fighting and the sandstorms. Most of his friends survived too. He came home and I am very happy. I love my Dad, the Veteran.Next Poem ~ Previous PoemSubmit Your Poetry
