Thanksgiving

By , About.com Guide

by Kirstin:

Thanksgiving, a day off from school,
The weather outside is below cool.
I watch the Macy's every year,
It sor of sets the atmosphere.

Giving thanks to the Lord,
It's a day of little discord.
The love spreads from self to self,
Nobody thinking about himself.

Sitting down to eat,
Making it must have been a feat.
There is a feast spread before us,
About the food, there is not one fuss.

After we satisfy our appetities,
The time is descending into the night.
Playing games and having fun,
The Holiday season has truly begun!
