St. Patrick's Day

By Beverly Hernandez, About.com

by Anastasia:

Maewny Succat began St Patrick's Day,
He was born in England in 389 AD,
He was kidnapped by pirates one day,
They took him to Ireland,
Six years after he was taken to Ireland He escaped back to Egland,
He changed his name to Patrick,
Then he returned to Ireland to minister Christianity,
He used shamrocks to resemble the Trinty,
After 30 years of ministering in Ireland he died on March 17, 461 AD,
That is how St Patrick's Day began.
