Mothers Day Memories

By Beverly Hernandez, About.com

by Michael Depasquale:

Come to me Baby, Dont Stay in the heat
Take My Umbrella and Rest your dear feet.
I look in your eyes and see Deep in your heart.
I hold you so close they wont take us apart
When you're cold I will warm you, your small body I will wrap
When you're scared I will comfort you, and send those thoughts back.
Sleep my little darling rest your Little head.
and when you wake up, I'll be right by your bed.

I wish you were here as I stare at your Grave
Please Come back to me, I have to be Brave
My scars are not healing I still feel you inside
God you're not the one to judge, let me decide.
Four walls, a dim light, a soft padded cell
I'm not Bloody mad get me out of this hell.
Only I have your Instincts, Only I have the say
And yet you gave the verdict on Mother's Day.
