A Mother's Day with Her Son

By Beverly Hernandez, About.com

by Michael:

My mom likes sharks. Once, she saw a dolphin by the beach.

One day, my mom and I got in our hover car and went on a nature hunt. We saw birds, frogs, and ducks. Then, at the end of the nature trail, we saw a new trail. When we went on the new trail, we saw a new animal: half-frog and half-bird. (It made a sound like "tweet, tweet, ribbet".) We took pictures of it. Then, we went home. When we got home, we looked up at the roof of our house. Someone wrote "Happy Mother's Day" on top of our roof! We had a lot of fun that day.
