The Declaration of Childhood

By Beverly Hernandez, About.com

by Ben Andring, 10 years old:

People under the age of twenty are children,
and have the right to have fun.
The parents have the control of our childhood,
but we have the control of our spirits.
Yes, we have masters,
but we are masters ourselves.
Masters of our souls, minds, and actions.
Our childhoods are short, and will not last;
so enjoy them.
