Good-bye

By Beverly Hernandez, About.com

by Canaan:

Change is in the air
All of earth lets out a sigh
Branches bow and mountains nod
As summer says 'Good bye.'

The leaves forfeit their color
The grass turns to rust
Nature succumbs to her slumber
Just as all things must.

Change is in the air
All of earth lets out a sigh
Leaves tremble and cold comes
As summer waves good bye.Next Poem ~ Previous PoemSubmit Your Poetry
