My Christmas Morning

"Yawn"

I roll over and look at the clock. It is 7:45 AM!! I take a deep breath, the scent of cinnamon rolls, hot chocolate, and hot eggs fill my nose. MMMM ... It smells so delicious!

I get up, grab my blanket, and I walk out into the living room. I see my stocking with its innards falling out and I see a lit up Christmas tree with creatively wrapped packages stacked up underneath it.

I walk into the kitchen to wish my family a Merry Christmas, and I find myself walking into a luxurious masterpiece. It is absolutely astonishing.

We all sit down to eat our breakfast, but no one eats very much because we are so excited about the coming events of the day.

After we eat what we can, and go into the living room - I grab my blanket and claim my seat on the floor, to make my environment. I grab a pillow and get all comfy.

We all begin to open up our stockings, and discover what the surprises that are hidden inside.

When we have finished examining everyone's sock findings, we begin to open gifts.

One at a time we go around and open them, everyone watching the others open up there's.

After the underneath part of the tree has been emptied, it is time to clean up and get dinner on.

Yea!! When it is time to eat supper, we truly focus on the real meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ. It is time to read the Christmas story.
