William Howard Taft (September 15, 1857 - March 8, 1930) was the 27th President of the United States. He served one term. While he was in office New Mexico and Arizona entered the Union, the Sixteenth Amendment was ratified, he supported Dollar Diplomacy and the Antitrust Policy. After his presidency, he was appointed Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.
