I'm always on the lookout for educational and enjoyable things to do with my grandchildren. Smarty Crafts offers monthly educational craft and activity kits for children ages 3-6. The kits come complete with everything you need for 5 crafts with extension ideas. Each craft/task comes individually wrapped and includes everything you need to complete the task, except for basic supplies, like scissors, glue, paint and crayons.

I've been using Smarty Crafts Kits for a few months now. I teach weekly classes with 4 of my grandchildren, ages 3-6. I use the Smarty Crafts kits exclusively for the material of the classes. Everything is provided in the kit and requires minimal preparation. I have the parents help with the three and four year old children. The six year old works independently. The kits have a monthly theme and are based on kindergarten standards. Each monthly kit works on a number, a letter, a shape and a color.

What I like most about the kits is the quality of supplies and the variety of the crafts. The projects are more than just cutting and gluing. The projects are creative and captivating. The project supplies are individually wrapped making it easier to keep things in order. When working with a group of youngsters, there's no time for searching for things.

The Smarty Crafts Kits are a great tool for working with your preschool and kindergarten children. It makes the hands-on learning projects easier to manage and incorporate into your day.
