Vision/Purpose:
School of Excellence is a private, independent study cover school, for homeschooling families serving students in grades k-12 of the Los Angeles area. Families of all homeschooling philosophies, and religious affiliations are welcome. We strive very hard to keep fees and homeschooling in general, affordable.
Mission Statement:
Our goal at the School of Excellence is EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE and we believe that this is best achieved by the parents, with the children, in the home. We like to encourage parents to take advantage of the many choices that they have to educate their own. We also try to emphasize the importance of nurturing any particular talents, gifts and interests. One of our main goals is to assist single parent homeschooling families.
Religious Affiliation:
We are non-sectarian and support all families regardless of religious affiliation or homeschooling methods.
Composition:
Our program welcomes all types of families representing various religious groups and homeschooling methods. We especially welcome single parent families.
