Vision/Purpose:
We are a private homeschool support group and independent study program for California home educators. We assist with new homeschoolers, mentoring, and all record-keeping. We file the annual affidavit.
Mission:
Our purpose is to encourage homeschoolers, especially those who are just beginning.
Religious Affiliation:
We are a Christian group and require and statement of faith.
Composition:
New Christian homeschoolers to Veteran Christian homeschoolers
Fees:
$110.00 p/yr Regular plan: homeschooling in their 3rd year or later
155.00 p/yr Mentoring plan: homeschooling in their 1st or 2nd year
155.00 p/yr Mentoring plan: homeschooling in their 1st or 2nd year
Application Procedure and Requirements:
You may apply online - there are instructions for enrolling through the mail as well. You must be a California resident.
Membership Benefits:
- Online record-keeping for convenience
- High school course of study assistance
- Teacher support meetings
- Occasional field trips, school picture day, and connection with other homeschoolers in our area
Meetings:
We have 4 teacher support meetings per year. These meetings are required for those in the mentoring plan. Regular members are not required to attend, but are welcome.
