Round 2

Players then go back to the table to play Round 2 while enjoying the appetizer and beverage. Another type of card you'll encounter is the 'Toast Master.' If you draw a Toast Master card, someone on your team will be making an original toast to one of the guests or some food related topic.

A third type of card in the game is the 'Dinner Music' card. All teams play when this card is drawn. The team playing the card will choose one of three songs on the card and try to get another team to guess the song. The catch is no words are allowed, only humming, whistling, tapping, or snapping.

Preparing the Meal
After the round ends and the teams have their assignments, they move to the kitchen to prepare the main dish and salad. These courses will be prepared and put in the oven to bake while Round 3 is played.

Round 3

Round 3 is the final round to the game. Players continue to munch on the appetizers and beverages while playing.

Convivia Trivia
Oh, I know that answer!
The 4th type of card is the 'Convivia Trivia' card with food related trivia questions. These cards will be drawn throughout the game when teams land on the appropriate spaces, but teams also must answer a Convivia Trivia question to cross the finish line.

When Round 3 is complete, the main dish and salad are served and all guests enjoy the meal. After the meal is finished, the appropriate teams clear the table and prepare dessert.

The game can be played as an entire meal or just one course or round. Instructions are given for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The menu that comes with the game is a Mexican Fiesta. There are more menus available on the Convivium website. We had a very enjoyable evening and the food was great!
