Vision/Purpose:

Circle of Friends: Support for Home Educators is a group of families that meet together for the express purpose of supporting each other and planning social and educational events (this includes, but is not limited to, field trips and play days) for *any* home educated families (regardless of religion or philosophy) in Douglas County and the surrounding area.

Support group that focuses on social and educational activities for children and parents.

Composition:

Douglas County and surrounding area - Any and all ages

Fees:

$16 membership fee including online newsletter - or $22 for membership and printed newsletter. Renewal each year on August 15th.

Honors Night - a night to honor homeschooling children, parents, and the group as a whole.

Introduction/Welcome Message:

Circle of Friends began in July, 1998 with 3 families, and ended the 2002-2003 year with over 50 families. We are an inclusive group and are active year-round (instead of Sept. - May).We offer many activities for members and non-members.
