Introduction/Welcome Message:
Our mission is not to tell folks what the best educational choice is, or to lobby, but to support the needs of individual families to make the best informed decisions for themselves about current educational ways and means. LIFE, Inc. will do this by continuing to provide broad-based information and resources via a comprehensive website and newsletters, and by facilitating networking between parents and educators through workshops, discussion groups, and our annual conference.
Our goal is to be a place where everyone can come to the table to learn about education reform and choice in education in a safe, non-judgmental environment. LIFE, Inc. will strive to be an education consumer's union, providing information, resources and networking opportunities for families, educators and education policy makers.
Our member parents are their own best experts! LIFE strives to free parents of everyone else's conflicting advice and expertise and encourages them to apply the skills of common sense and logic to their educational decision making. We believe that supplying education consumers with names, information, articles, data and resources will allow coalitions of parents to be strong and persuasive on the basis of their own experiences and expertise.
