Todayshow.com is doing a weeklong web-only series on homeschooling. So far, the coverage has been good, taking different angles. The gist of the article is that past stereotypes and stigmas are fading as homeschooling moves mainstream.
The article explores some of the challenges homeschoolers face and some of the unique opportunities available through homeschooling. It shows some homeschool successes as well as some that didn't fare so well. My favorite line in the article is "There are home-school parents who are knuckleheads just like there are public school parents who are knuckleheads." I think keeping that in mind and not judging whole groups of people by a few knuckleheads would do us all well.

I’m really enjoying the series…so far they seem to be addressing all the angles pretty fairly!!
