I love to write. Once I started my career as the homeschooling, stay-at-home parent, I discovered blogging as a method of practicing writing, feeding my need to be creative, and providing contact with the world outside of my house!

My blog is three fold. I provide ideas and encouragement for homeschooling, homesteading and homemaking. I’ve homeschooled for around 16 years and with a 6 year old, anticipate another 12 or so. We attempt to raise most of our food on our little plot of earth and so I share tips and how-tos regarding gardening, goats, chickens, butchering and canning. And then, of course, we are all homemakers and need tips and encouragement in that realm as well. Stop by for a visit. I’m confident you will find something for you.
