In preparing for the school year to begin, how do you establish a school identity? Do you name your school? Do you have a mascot, make student identification cards or school T-shirts? I’ve never officially named our school, so I think that will be one of our first projects this year.

We have been at this homeschooling thing for three years now. I think it’s high time we gave ourselves a name:)
We just named our homeschool last week– Willow Tree Academy. It’s named after the beautiful willow tree in our back yard. I just started a new blog, but there’s not much to it yet! willowtreeacademy.blogspot.com

My son will be in 6th this year 
We named our school when we first started when he was 4 years old ,it is
G*L*O*W Academy
G=God
L=Leads
0=Our
W=Way
Academy
Our Color has changed 2 times and so has our mascot
We are now
Eagles
and colors Blue and White
ID Card
We have made one Each year, you would be surprised who all gives discounts with them
