Earthquake in Southern California...shake, shake, shake

Tuesday July 29, 2008
We had a moderate earthquake here in Southern California. It's a 5.4 about 5 miles from my home so I felt it quite strongly. Although this earthquake was quite mild, it's a great opportunity to talk to your children and check your earthquake preparedness. My grown children remembered everything I taught them in our homeschool days and reacted appropriately. My autistic grandson liked the earthquake, he says, "shake, shake, shake."
