A few tears on Mother's Day...

Sunday May 14, 2006
I held my sweet daughter Jessica today as we cried together and mourned the baby she lost this year.
"I know this was a hard day for you and I admire your strength to put on that happy face and make it so special for everyone else. I know that this is just a season and in years to come we will have forgotten this difficult Mothers Day because we will be so busy chasing your little one around! I can’t wait to rejoice with you. It is funny to me that my arms could long for someone else’s baby even though I have so many of my own." ~Julee (Her older sister)
We had a fun barbeque at the park with good food, slushies, bocce ball, frisbees and an old fashioned water balloon toss. Who says you can't make slushies at the park? What started out as a difficult day, ended up to be a very special family time together.

I hope you too had a great Mother's Day with your loved ones!
