Homeschooler's Writing Club - New Projects

Monday January 30, 2006
It's been a while since we had writing projects to do, so here's a couple new ones for you.
  1. This time we're going to combine photography and writing in a Field Assignment. They say pictures are worth a thousand words. In this assignment you'll be going around your community and capturing pictures of things that are unique to your area. Then you'll either write an essay about your favorite picture, or you'll choose up to 10 pictures and write a caption for each one. See the assignment for more details.

  2. The holiday poetry project is ongoing...new holidays are up. If you submitted a Valentine poem last year, try a new genre this year.
All homeschoolers are welcome to participate. Go out and have fun with your camera and send in your projects. (The Writing Clubhouse has the rundown on all Writing Club happenings.)
